Disability Services Coordinator

The Birtenshaw Group invites applications for a Disability Services Coordinator position in one of our Children's Homes. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with children and young adults who require support with daily living tasks, educational activities, and social interactions. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
About the Job
You will be responsible for transporting service users to local communities, medical appointments, family contact, and activities using company-owned vehicles. This role requires a full Manual UK (Category B) Driving Licence and demonstrable experience as a Driver. Our staff receive comprehensive training to ensure they are equipped to handle the demands of this role.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from £24,087 to £24,490 per annum, based on 37 hours per week, pro rata (£12.49 - £12.69 per hour), plus an additional £2000 per annum for undertaking additional responsibilities pro rata. You will also receive enhanced pay over Christmas and New Year, 30 days holiday including public holidays, and paid-for training and qualifications.
