  • Your primary focus will be on managing claims, underwriting, distribution, regulation & risk, customer experience, human capital, digital transformation & change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Update case management systems with accurate file allocations, diary records, court dates, directions, applications, and orders.
  2. Draft routine court documents, including AOS, Notice of Change, Court Orders, Witness Summons, and precedent-based applications.
  3. Liaise with courts, counsel, opponents, experts, witnesses, insureds, and brokers to progress cases.
  4. Follow up on outstanding instructions, documents, and actions to ensure timely responses.
  5. Make payment requests using the appropriate process and chase payments to ensure dispatch within deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 35 hours per week, working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
  • Experience working in a legal environment, preferably in claims or underwriting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with third parties and influence outcomes.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with alpha-numerical filing systems and Claims/Case Management systems.
