About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Risk Management Specialist to join our team at DaVita UK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a leading role in improving quality across all dialysis units and maintaining ISO accreditation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Improvement
    • Lead accreditation cycles and processes, including ISO, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement programs to assess and enhance the standards of quality across all areas of activity.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
    • Conduct regular reviews of customer feedback and satisfaction questionnaires to identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management
    • Implement and maintain a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
    • Collaborate with senior management to identify and analyze relevant risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Manage and coordinate incident reporting, investigation, and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure that policies and procedures are up-to-date, adequate, and aligned with the organization's risk appetite.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including health and safety, and healthcare regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Other Duties
    • Provide training and support to staff on quality and risk management practices.
    • Act as a key point of contact for quality and risk management issues.
    • Prepare and present reports on quality and risk management activities to senior management.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare, business administration, or risk management.
    • Experience in healthcare settings, preferably in a quality improvement or risk management role.
    • Certifications in quality management or risk management are desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
