Job Summary

As a Business Development Leader, you will play a key role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships with allocated accounts. You will develop and maintain relationships with senior-level management at customer organizations, identify new business opportunities, and meet/exceed set targets. This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement tactical plans to deliver company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management: Take lead responsibility for driving mutually successful partnerships with allocated accounts.
  • Strategy Development: Lead development of tactical plans to deliver company goals and maximize revenues and profits.
  • Targets: Meet/exceed set targets, including customer engagement, opportunity generation, funnel management, sales growth, and portfolio development.
  • Visits: Achieve a minimum of 10 customer visits per week.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the biotech industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience in a similar role are required.

Salary and Benefits

Avantor Careers offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
