About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team on the Children's Inpatient Ward (G2 ward) at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support and work alongside nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to children and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Health or Health and Social Care, or working towards.
  • One year's experience working with children and the general public.
  • Basic understanding of normal child development.
