About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated and dynamic Healthcare Support Workers to join our Bank team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing optimal care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively in a variety of different wards and departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Be committed to demonstrating our Trust's CARE values.
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Literacy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D-G, 3-6).
  • Numeracy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D-G, 3-6).
  • The Care Certificate.
Desirable Criteria
  • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent or above in Health or Health and Social Care or working towards an award.
  • ESOL level 2 or equivalent (if English not first language).
Experience and Knowledge
  • Experience in a public facing/customer care role or environment.
  • A minimum of 12 months care experience.
Skills and Ability
  • Good written and verbal communication in the English language.
