Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Planning Director to join our team at NFU Mutual, one of the UK's leading general insurance and financial services companies. As a key player in driving long-term success, you will lead strategic projects and support the development of forward-thinking plans.

About the Role
This high-impact position requires a confident communicator with exceptional storytelling ability to present ideas at the Executive Committee level. You will be responsible for challenging and guiding critical programmes to ensure alignment with our long-term goals and using your strategic planning expertise to develop, implement, and monitor planning processes that connect our vision with business objectives. Your insights will shape and inform NFU Mutual's strategy and you will collaborate with the Executive, Senior Management and Board to drive long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic projects and support the development of forward-thinking plans.
  • Challenging and guiding critical programmes to ensure alignment with long-term goals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor planning processes to connect vision with business objectives.

Requirements
  • Strong background in strategic planning and development within Financial Services (Life, Investments & Pensions) and/or General Insurance (Personal or Commercial Lines).
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present ideas at Executive Committee level.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and respected professional reputation.

Benefits
  • Up to £90,000 salary depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus up to 25% of salary.
