Disability Services Specialist

About the Opportunity:
Excel Recruitment is recruiting a Disability Services Specialist on a permanent full-time basis in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will provide person-centered support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and ABI. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that each individual receives tailored support that meets their needs and promotes their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- C coach, mentor, and supervise staff and volunteers, taking responsibility as shift leader when called upon.
- Be involved in the induction and training of new hires.
- Provide exceptional person-centered support to all people within the service.
- Form positive relationships with the people you support, enabling them to live their lives, communicate their wishes, enhancing their choices while always staying professional with the people you support and their families.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have either 4 years' experience in a similar setting or relevant qualifications such as QCF Level 3 or a Psychology degree with relevant experience. You must also have demonstrable experience in devising and implementing person-centered support plans, be registered with NISCC, and hold a full, clean driving licence or the ability to travel independently.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,500 - £34,500 per year, comprehensive staff benefits package, detailed induction, training and continued performance and well-being supervision, and clear progression opportunities.
