Senior Clinician

We are seeking a Senior Clinician to join our Mobility Services team at Disability Action. In this role, you will contribute to delivering essential services that make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities across Northern Ireland. Our expert Mobility team provides drivers and passengers assessments and advice on driving and vehicle adaptations.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with specialist driving assessors to conduct driving and passenger assessments, providing expert support to clients and contributing to service development and value-added experiences. The successful candidate will report directly to the Mobility Services Manager and play an integral role in shaping the future of our Mobility Centre.

This role requires:

• Conducting driving assessments as part of a dual team, providing clinical evaluations of individuals' driving abilities
• Providing advice and guidance to participants in a friendly and positive manner
• Supporting team and personal development through ongoing collaboration and learning
• Preparing and submitting detailed driving assessment reports with tight deadlines, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Maintaining accurate and professional report writing to uphold high standards

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a BSc, MSc, or Dip COT qualification in Occupational Therapy, be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have strong organisational and communication skills.
