Job Title: Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced registered midwife to join our team as an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and assuring the implementation of key national perinatal transformation, quality & safety strategy in Devon.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clinicians, commissioning colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure strong leadership around safety for perinatal services at all levels.
  • Implement the Perinatal Quality Surveillance Model and the recommendations of the Ockenden Report.
  • Develop and deliver service redesign plans to improve service quality.
  • Lead the development, delivery, and implementation of service improvement projects.
  • Monitor budgets and business planning processes.
Requirements:
  • Registered Professional Midwife with confirmed entry on specialist register NMC.
  • Demonstrable work experience of professional clinical experience at a senior level in maternity services.
  • Experience in leading the development, delivery, and implementation of service redesign plans.
  • Advanced and in-depth knowledge of current developments/issues in obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Ability to use informed persuasion to influence and negotiate on difficult and controversial issues.
