Academics Ltd is seeking an exceptional SEN Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Stevenage. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will provide first-class support to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

This role is ideal for graduates with a Psychology or Criminology degree or experienced SEN Teaching Assistants looking to take the next steps in their career. If you aspire to have a career focused on Counselling, Mental Health, Wellbeing, Criminal Justice, Social Justice, or Youth Justice, this is an outstanding opportunity.

The successful candidate will have an Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Psychology or Criminology) and/or previous SEN experience, as well as an interest in mental health and Autism. A local commute to Stevenage is required.

We are offering a competitive salary of £23,500 per annum, reflecting the location and industry standards. This position comes with a long-term contract, 5 days a week, with a regular working schedule from 8:30 to 16:30.

In this role, you will develop your education and training while making a positive impact on the lives of children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

  1. An Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Psychology or Criminology) and/or previous SEN experience.
  2. An interest in mental health and Autism.
  3. A local commute to Stevenage.
