Job Title: Student Success Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Student Success Advocate to join our Brook Street Social Care team. This role involves working closely with students who require additional support due to learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as those with emotional and behavioral needs. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a patient attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. As a Student Success Advocate, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, developing strategies to overcome their barriers to learning, and working closely with the Learning Support Co-ordinator to implement assessments and monitoring plans.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to address student barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of support strategies.
• Support students during curriculum-related activities, such as work experience and residential trips.
• Act as an advocate for students and promote self-advocacy skills.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure seamless support.
