Job Title: Learning Support Associate

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Associate to join our team at Brook Street UK. As a Learning Support Associate, you will provide vital support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities, emotional and behavior needs. Your role will involve assisting in implementing detailed assessments and monitoring support strategies. You will work closely with the Learning Support Co-ordinator and teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Escort and assist students with mobility difficulties,
• Accompany students on curriculum visits,
• Act as an advocate for students,
• Encourage students to be independent,
• Relay student concerns,
• Support transition into and progression at the programme's end,
• Devise and implement support strategies with senior departmental staff,
• Liaise with Learning mentor Coordinator and other professionals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and understanding demeanor, and a willingness to continuously develop their skills and knowledge. You will be expected to maintain accurate records and follow college Health and Safety policies. A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience, plus benefits including opportunities for professional development and training. This is a full-time position, with potential travel to other locations to attend meetings.
