Job Summary

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and proactive Primary HLTA (SEN Experience) to work in primary schools in Ashington, delivering targeted support and interventions for students with SEN. As a member of our team, you will work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one support, and help create an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist class teachers in planning and delivering lessons and interventions for students with SEN.
  • Provide tailored support to students, including one-on-one and small group sessions.
  • Implement effective strategies to support students with various SEN, including behavioural, emotional, and learning difficulties.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting support as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Primary HLTA with a focus on SEN.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and experience in implementing effective support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is £90-£150 per day, based on experience.
