About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Co-ordinator to join our team at Surrey Heartlands. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS), focusing on professional and courteous administrative and business coordination.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff of all levels throughout the ICB, Trusts, and the wider healthcare community. You will be proficient in IT systems and software programmes, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide a full range of secretarial/administrative support to members of the senior management and wider Team for the Local Maternity Neonatal System (LMNS).
  2. Undertake provision and co-ordination of administrative and secretarial services; including complex diary management, preparing meeting agendas, minute taking, and appropriate follow-up action as required.
  3. Support the LMNS with project administration for working groups and Boards, gathering information including completing assigned actions.
  4. Communicate effectively with staff of all levels throughout the ICB, Trusts, the wider healthcare community, clinicians, external organisations and the public through verbal, written, and electronic media.
Requirements
  • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • Significant administrative/secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry, and presentation skills.
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time, flexible working opportunity with the possibility of home or remote working. The successful candidate will be required to work autonomously, organising and prioritising their own and others' workloads to changing and often tight deadlines.

The salary for this role is £25,147 to £27,596 per annum, pro rata, plus a 5% high cost allowance.
