Academics Ltd is looking for a dedicated and caring Psychology Graduate to fill the role of SEMH Specialist.

About the Role

This important position involves working with students aged 4-19 who require support with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. As a SEMH specialist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to create a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualised behaviour plans to promote positive change and reduce challenging behaviour
  • Provide individualised support to students, focusing on building trust, confidence, and self-esteem
Requirements
  • Recent Psychology Graduate
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
  • Awareness of mental health and its impact on students
What We Offer
  • Competitive daily rate of £90-£110, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm, term-time only
