We are seeking a skilled Junior Process Engineer to join our team at ACS Staffing Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven individual to gain experience and development in configuring and optimising manufacturing processes for internal projects.

The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of engineering principles, machining and fabrication, including Engineering Drawings and specifications. They will also possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, together with report writing skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing training and coaching to process operators.
  • Helping to source new manufacturing equipment and bring into production.
  • Designing and implementing packaging instructions.
  • Occasionally designing, running, testing and upgrading systems and processes.

The successful candidate will have 3D & 2D CAD skills (Solidworks) and/or hands-on experience of machining (Milling and/or turning) (and CNC programming long hand or CAM). Hands-on experience of press brake forming & laser cutting (and programming) is desirable.

A BS/BEng degree in Engineering is also desirable.
