We are currently seeking caring and compassionate Homecare Assistants to join our team at Home Instead in Henley on Thames. Our role involves providing elderly care and support to adults living at home with various needs throughout the local area.

Job Overview:

As a Homecare Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by delivering high-quality care and support services to clients in their own homes.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine interest in elderly care and a desire to help others. You will need to be adaptable, personable, and put others first.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Providing companionship and social interaction
  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
  • Helping with mobility around the home
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Assisting with household tasks, including cleaning and vacuuming
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Running errands, such as shopping or collecting prescriptions

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.50 per hour
  • Mileage paid at 40p per mile
  • Enhanced Bank Holiday Pay Rate of £25.00 per hour
