Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Adult Community

We are seeking a qualified Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our adult community psychological services in the NHS. Newly qualified applicants are welcome, with the opportunity for initial appointment at band 7 and progression to 8A following successful completion of a preceptorship.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in specific psychological interventions aimed at reducing risk and addressing emotional dysregulation, preferably Dialectical Behaviour Therapy or Schema Therapy.

This position comes with funded training opportunities available after probation, which can be utilized within 3 years of appointment. The chosen training should align with the needs of the service and be approved by the service manager.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside experienced clinical/counselling psychology and psychotherapy colleagues. We are looking for someone competent in delivering psychological assessments and interventions, capable of managing high-risk clients and situations.

In this role, you will earn an estimated £46,148 - £60,504 per annum pro rata, depending on experience and qualifications.
