Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front of House Manager to join our team at Britannia Hotels. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Office Management: Run our busy reception desk in a professional manner, prioritizing customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for our guests.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and train the front office team to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service and support to our guests.
  • Revenue Maximization: Work closely with the hotel management to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and minimize loss within the front office department.
  • Financial Management: Ensure all monies, floats, and accounts are managed effectively and accurately.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Support other departments and participate in the Duty Manager Rota to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the hotel.
  • Guest Experience: Be operationally involved in checking guests in and out, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.

Requirements:

  • Organizational Skills: Be highly organized, punctual, and well-presented, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train the front office team to achieve exceptional results.
