AWS Cloud Transformation Specialist

Are you an experienced technologist with a proven track record of large-scale migration and modernization projects? Can you effectively communicate the benefits of cloud adoption to senior leaders and executives, and collaborate with technology teams to design solutions for strategic problems?
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're seeking a Solution Architect to advise public sector and health organizations across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) on how to transform their technology use and deliver business value. Our Solution Architects leverage their personal experiences building on AWS, combine them with customer experiences, and help enterprises understand and realize the business value they can unlock using AWS services.
As part of the public sector Cloud Transformation team, Solution Architects collaborate across the entire AWS organization to deliver the best solutions for customers. They serve as trusted customer advocates, helping organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, migrating and/or re-developing existing workloads in the cloud, and modernizing infrastructure, applications, and data to optimize for business and customer outcomes.
The role requires cross-industry business acumen and enterprise transformation. It demands a desire for continued knowledge acquisition and growth, a focus on customer success using AWS, and the ability to take advantage of the global scale, elasticity, automation, and high-availability features of AWS services. Achieving success will require coordination across many internal AWS teams and external AWS Partners, with impact and visibility at the highest levels of the company.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries
8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
