Job Title: Head of Network Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Network Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Network Homes achieves statutory compliance in areas such as Gas Servicing, Lift Maintenance, Asbestos, Electrical Testing, and more. The role will also involve managing damp and water ingress across the portfolio and contributing strategically to the Customer Services Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage Planned Mechanical and Electrical Works: Oversee the planning and execution of mechanical and electrical works, including Gas Servicing, Lift Replacements, and other related activities.
  2. Ensure Statutory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance and inspection contracts are in place and that statutory compliance is maintained across the portfolio.
  3. Liaise with Customer Services: Work closely with the Customer Services team to ensure health and safety risk assessments are conducted and that all necessary actions are taken.
  4. Oversee Dampness and Water Ingress Activities: Manage activities related to dampness and water ingress, including investigations, repairs, and preventative measures.
  5. Ensure Value for Money: Ensure that all activities are carried out in a cost-effective manner, with a focus on value for money and quality assurance.
  6. Develop New Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement new policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement and best practice.
  7. Manage Staff Recruitment, Training, and Performance: Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of staff within the Network Management team.
  8. Expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Services: Possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical service issues and be able to provide expert advice and guidance.
  9. Experience in Maintenance and Building Services: Have experience in maintenance and building services, including management of contracts and suppliers.
  10. Excellent Customer Care and Staff Management Skills: Possess excellent customer care and staff management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
