At Advanced Resource Managers (ARM), we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team as a Principal EMC Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining electromagnetic requirements and undertaking specialist testing of systems, sub-systems, and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Define electromagnetic requirements and undertake specialist testing of systems, sub-systems, and components
    • Specify and manage requirements and acceptance criteria specific to a system, platform, or programme
    • Advise design teams on EMC requirements and design considerations
    • Liaise with EMC test engineers to design and specify testing regimes to prove system compliance against relevant standards
    • Design and implement system mitigation to meet EMC standards
    • Mentor and coach Engineers within the team

Requirements:
  • • BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification
    • Professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this
    • Experience of design for EMC compliance
    • Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards would be an advantage

Salary: £54,750 per annum, depending on experience.
