About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Principal Systems Engineer with expertise in Electromagnetics to join our team at Leonardo.

As an Electro-Optical and multi-mode Sensor systems expert, you will work on Precision Guidance sector projects, driving innovation and advancing EO/LO technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading technology maturation, modelling, simulation, prototype build and test activities
  • Analysing and communicating signature predictions
  • Engaging in research, design, computational electromagnetic modelling of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials
  • Presentation of results and designs through written reports and oral presentations
  • Providing technical assistance and guidance to colleagues while promoting best practice and process improvement

A competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, based on experience and skills, is offered, along with an award-winning benefits package that includes flexible working options, company-funded flexible benefits, holidays, pension, wellbeing support, lifestyle discounts, training opportunities and bonus schemes.
