About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Principal Systems Engineer with expertise in Electromagnetics and experience in Low Observability technology to work on Electro-Optical and multi-mode Sensor systems within the Precision Guidance sector.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop and grow skills and knowledge within a thriving organisation, driving innovation and advancing the company's capabilities in EO/LO technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of technology maturation, modelling, simulation, prototype build and test activities
  • Perform, analyse and communicate signature predictions
  • Engage in research, design and computational electromagnetic modelling of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials
  • Present results and designs through written reports and oral presentations
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to others, promoting best practice and process improvement

About You:

You will be degree qualified in a relevant STEM discipline, with working knowledge of radar cross-section reduction, radio-frequency antenna design, Electro-optics, RADAR, RF materials and RF material measurements.

Awareness of Systems Engineering across the whole lifecycle and expertise in LO modelling & predictions, computational electromagnetics and CST Microwave Studio, FEKO or similar is also required.
