Job Description

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Encouraging independence and promoting life skills development
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification in health, education, or social care (desirable)
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £14 per hour, rising to £[salary] from 1st October 2024. Other benefits include:

  • Generous holiday entitlement (33 days + 8 statutory bank holidays)
  • Overtime allowance (10%) and Bank Holiday allowance (20% + 50% for key dates over Christmas)
