About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
- Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Encouraging independence and promoting life skills development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A professional qualification in health, education, or social care (desirable)
- Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
We offer a competitive salary of £14 per hour, rising to £[salary] from 1st October 2024. Other benefits include:
- Generous holiday entitlement (33 days + 8 statutory bank holidays)
- Overtime allowance (10%) and Bank Holiday allowance (20% + 50% for key dates over Christmas)
- Training and development opportunities, including a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
