Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our menu offerings, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our clients, ensuring high-quality dishes and monitoring food costs.
  • Employee Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Inventory and Cost Control: Manage stock levels, monitor food costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives to maintain profitability.
  • Customer Relations: Interact with clients to understand their specific catering needs and preferences, maintaining open communication channels to address concerns and requirements.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food safety protocols, creating a culture of safety within the kitchen.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage kitchen budgets, reporting on financial performance and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Menu Development and Innovation: Stay up-to-date on culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into menus to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior culinary role, with a strong track record of menu development and implementation.
  • Excellent creative culinary skills, with a passion for innovation and menu development.
  • Leadership and team management abilities, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in food cost management and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
