We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Nurse to join our Cared for Children Health Team. As a key member of our safeguarding and looked after children service, you will play a crucial role in addressing the health needs of looked after children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to looked after children in the community and acute settings.
  • Work collaboratively with the safeguarding and looked after children service to ensure safe and effective services for all staff.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Conduct regular health assessments and provide health education to children and their families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for looked after children.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
  • Experience working with looked after children and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and looked after children policies and procedures.
