We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a therapeutic setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.

As a probation officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children and young people, including those with autism, speech, language, and communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

We provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that our team members have the skills and expertise needed to meet the complex needs of our students. Our team is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • To support children with SEN in a therapeutic setting, promoting their emotional well-being and academic progress
  • To build strong relationships with children and young people, increasing engagement and motivation

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
