The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, specifically in the construction industry, with a focus on window and door hardware. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, working with a range of clients across the construction sector, including composite and timber door manufacturers, commercial PVCu tilt and turn manufacturers, door hardware suppliers, and GAI-certified companies.

About the Job: As Area Business Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in the East Midlands and East Anglia regions. You will work closely with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring seamless execution and meeting monthly reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. * Manage an established customer base of £2.5m-£3m revenue and expand it through strategic business development initiatives.* Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets, focusing on high-end manufactured multi-point locking systems for windows and doors.* Recruit a minimum of three new commercial accounts per annum, each contributing at least £50,000 in revenue.* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and meet monthly reporting requirements.


Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

* Extensive experience in field sales, preferably in the construction industry.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.* Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.* Familiarity with technical regulations and legislation related to internal timber fire door locking systems.* A consultative approach to sales, with a focus on providing solutions rather than just selling products.

Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 (negotiable) plus a performance-related bonus of up to £10,000. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a fully expensed car and a range of other perks.
