Senior Forensic Psychiatrist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with intellectual disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychiatric services to patients in the FIND service, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment formulation.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the FIND service, shaping its future direction and strategy.
- Participate in training and education programs for healthcare professionals, promoting best practices and evidence-based treatments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. You should be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of completing your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
