Chef Job Description
This is a permanent position in our brand new supported living service, located in Kington, Herefordshire.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in catering, such as a culinary degree or diploma.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Cooks as part of a team, ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met.
- Identify shortfalls in the service and suggest improvements to the Head Chef or Catering Manager.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene in the kitchen and restaurant areas, including food preparation and storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, cooking appliances, and other kitchen equipment, in accordance with Environmental Health Regulations.
