About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Care Home Chef to join our team at a brand new supported living service in Kington, Herefordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Cooks as part of a team, ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met.
  • Identify shortfalls in the service and suggest improvements to the Head Chef or Catering Manager.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene in the kitchen and restaurant areas, including food preparation and storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, cooking appliances, and other kitchen equipment, in accordance with Environmental Health Regulations.

What You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant qualifications in catering, such as a culinary degree or diploma.

You will also need to be able to work alternate weekends, which are essential for this role.
