Care Home Chef Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Care Home Chef to join our team at a brand new supported living service.
The role is based in Kington, Herefordshire, an area known for its beautiful countryside and historic market towns.
The ideal candidate will have experience in catering, preferably in a similar environment.
Job Description:
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Cooks as part of a team, ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met.
- Identify shortfalls in the service and suggest improvements to the Head Chef or Catering Manager.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene in the kitchen and restaurant areas, including food preparation and storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, cooking appliances, and other kitchen equipment, in accordance with Environmental Health Regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in catering, such as a culinary degree or diploma.
- Able to work alternate weekends, which are essential for this role.
What We Offer
Our company offers a competitive salary of £12 per hour, with potential for additional earnings based on experience and qualifications.
We also provide a fantastic induction programme and excellent training opportunities.
The successful candidate will be working 36 hours per week, with shifts from 6am to 4pm.
