Residential Childcare Assessor Job Opportunity

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Residential Childcare Assessor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor to support learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Residential Childcare and a proven track record of delivering high-quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Requirements
  • Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  • Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years' occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
  • Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
