Key Responsibilities- Assist the Registered Manager in leading the care team and ensuring the home environment meets the needs of our young people.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the staff team, promoting a positive and supportive working environment.
- Support the development and review of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of our young people are met.
- Maintain effective working relationships with families, social workers, and other professionals.
- Ensure the health, safety, and security of all individuals in the home.
- Support the emotional and practical needs of our young people, promoting their social and community involvement.
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years.
- At least 6 months' experience supervising professional staff.
- Full driving licence (automatic/manual).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate leadership.
- Competitive salary range of £34,791 inclusive of sleep ins.

- Support to achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care.
- 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
