Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Childcare Tutor to join our client's team. As a Residential Childcare Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners in a residential childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver staff training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of residential childcare staff.
- Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards qualifications in childcare and education.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of the organization.
Requirements:
- Must hold solid, occupational experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a Residential Children's Home.
- Experience of delivering staff training would be highly desirable.
- Ideally be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Apprenticeships in Children & Young People Families Practitioner / Residential Childcare.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
