About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our children's residential home in the West Midlands. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and management to ensure the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong and motivational leadership to all staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with a multi-agency team, partners, and OFSTED to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including budget management, health and safety regulations, and staffing levels.
  • Lead culture change within the home using recognized change tools and techniques to deliver a service that is fit for purpose.
  • Transition all children into new homes safely and happily.
Requirements
  • Social Work Qualified or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • DBS Enhanced check required.
  • Background in working with children who have been diagnosed with Autism would be beneficial.
  • Experience opening/closing a children's residential home for a local authority would be advantageous.
  • Ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience as the Registered Manager for a children's home.
  • Strong track record of change management within children's settings.
