About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Development and Support Advisor for Senior Clergy. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and appointment of senior clergy within the Church of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Archbishops' Secretary for Appointments in vocational discernment and development, including coaching and skills training for individuals and groups.
  • Proactively engage with diocesan stakeholders on appointment processes and provide high-quality reports that articulate the joys and challenges of Church mission and ministry.
  • Journey alongside candidates at all stages of the process, providing pastoral support and advising on areas of ministerial development.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent recent and continuous professional development.
  • Human resources and/or coaching qualification commensurate with the scope of the role, with evidence of recent and continuous professional development and demonstrable HR and coaching experience and skills.

  • An estimated salary of £66,186 per annum plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary.
