SummaryThe Discernment Process Coordinator role entails coordinating and organizing logistical aspects, along with providing support for online and in-person discernment panels. Effective communication, presentation, and response skills are crucial as the coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact. About the DepartmentThe Ministry Development Team (MDT) plays a pivotal role in shaping and aligning with the Church of England's Vision and Strategy. We strive to create a younger and more diverse church where a mixed ecology of worshipping communities thrives. Our focus is primarily on supporting and guiding individuals in local churches, dioceses, cathedrals, and theological education institutions. To achieve this, we collaborate with colleagues in other parts of the National Church Institutions. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing administrative and logistical support.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records and generating reports using people-related data, adhering to current GDPR and NCIs policies.
  • Responding to inquiries received via the shared inbox for the discernment process from stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Offering one-to-one advice and resolving problems for work colleagues and stakeholders.
