We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Front Office Assistant to join our team at Ebrington Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the city.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of service while answering phone calls and building strong relationships with other departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining our tone of voice and diction while answering phone calls.
  • Building strong relationships with other departments, including Reception, Accounts, and Sales.
  • Handling group rooming list entry, awarding contractual concessions, and establishing accurate billing.
  • Assisting in training for new Reservations teammates, including Health Safety procedures.
  • SUPPORTING THE FRONT OFFICE OPERATION TO ACHIEVE GUEST SATISFACTION AND ROOMS REVENUE GOALS.
  • Dealing with guest comments, developing strategies to improve the level of service, and checking front office equipment regularly.
  • Maintaining front office supplies and challenging staff to utilize yield management, occupancy, and average room rate to maximize rooms revenue.
  • Coordinating billing with the accounting department and performing other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to use reservation systems and software, as well as experience in analyzing reservation data and making recommendations to improve room occupancy and revenue. Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
