About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Compliance Leader to join our Shell Energy team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our Compliance Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our EMEA Shell Energy businesses on compliance matters, including regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with our Compliance Training team to design and deliver compliance training programs for our EMEA Shell Energy businesses.
  • Work closely with our Legal and Finance teams to ensure that our business operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide input to our annual Compliance Risk Assessment plan and review the output of Compliance Risk Assessments.
  • Manage advice and support for our T&S satellite offices and sales offices in the region, as well as hub locations within EMEA.
  • Partner with other parts of Compliance and other functions, including Legal, Finance, and Audit, to ensure effective compliance across our business.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a senior compliance role, covering the EMEA region, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance risk management.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and drive performance and encourage positive team dynamics.
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of global and regional financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or equivalent work experience).
