Marketing Account Manager

As a Marketing Account Executive at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and managing all aspects of the production process, from management to delivery of in-store print executions. Your focus will be on shippers, tastings, and experiential-led briefs that come in via the Customer Front Door. This is a varied role that will be supported and guided by the Senior Account Manager (SAM) and the Account Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry responsibility for customer service delivery, operational excellence, and supporting the SAM to communicate, track, and achieve all financial targets, adhere to commercial standards, and optimize commercial benefits for our client.
- Project manage point-of-sale communications to ensure they deliver the Waitrose business plan, reinforce the brand values, and provide relevant and engaging content for the target customer.
- Support the SAM with the delivery of POS work into the artwork team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
- Explore print suppliers via the RFQ process to ensure we're getting the most competitive rates for our clients, focusing on POS volume reduction and cost savings to meet our cost-saving objectives.
- Provide administrative excellence in all invoicing, work-in-progress updates, briefing, and supplier management.
- Thrive in a fully client-facing environment and understand the nuances between integrating yourself into a client's marketing team and being an Account Manager delivering the best to your client.
Requirements:
- Be customer-centric, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service every time.
- Maintain excellent customer service through outstanding account management, solving issues as and when they arise, and ensuring delivery is right every time, on time.
- Develop a partnership approach to working with the client, managing their expectations for project delivery, and being able to challenge constructively.
- Build positive and professional working relationships with colleagues, internal customers, and suppliers to enable smooth transition of all processes.
- Be able to work off large spreadsheets and keep on top of multiple projects, with a focus on influencing smarter ways of working and driving time and cost savings where possible.
