HR Advisor Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team at Wakefield Council. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing timely and professional HR advice and support to internal and external customers, including schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR advice and support to managers and headteachers on effective HR tools and guidance to manage performance.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures that safeguard the Council and its employees.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR, pay, and employment queries.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
  • Education to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or relevant HR experience.
  • Ability to handle complex HR queries and provide pragmatic solutions.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Word and Excel.
