Game Development Engineer for Microsoft Xbox Games

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Game Development Engineer to join our team at Microsoft Xbox Games. As a Live Services Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tested services to support our current and future games, as well as developing and improving our platform. Our team works across the breadth of Rare, supporting and collaborating with other teams around the studio while building out scalable solutions for use by live games.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and operating highly available and scalable microservices
- Developing new services with .NET and using highly scalable databases like Azure Cosmos DB
- Working on modern release pipelines, including CI/CD (Octopus Deploy/Azure DevOps/TeamCity)
Requirements
- Solid grounding and experience in C#
- Familiarity with automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
- Experience in writing tests and testable code is essential
