About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist. As a key member of our public safety team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the telephone switchboard and greet visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collect and process information, issue visitor badges, and complete departmental forms.
  • Perform other CJIS-related duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Train relief operators and maintain a neat and organized work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in office operations and customer service, including telephone etiquette and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to become VCIN certified.
