About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Veolia team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the operations team, including responding to calls, emails, and queries.
  • Assist with Weighbridge Operations, including on-site training and booking recyclable material collections.
  • Engage with the Communication team to help improve recycling rates across the region.
  • Support the team with people management, including time sheets, absence, and holidays.
  • Maintain PPE Google sheet and various I.T Systems, including Elemos, Workday, and Echo.
  • Process new starters and leavers on Workday and maintain schedules for onsite periodic maintenance and inspections.
  • General administrative duties, including filing and maintaining staff folders on Google Drive.

Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • A working knowledge of Google, including mail, docs, and sheets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
