Job Title: Gatehouse Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Gatehouse Administrator to join our Transport team at our Chesterfield site. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for effectively and accurately managing vehicles from receipt through to despatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipting and despatching of loads in a timely and secure manner to assist in shift efficiency.
- Dealing with drivers on both inbound and outbound gates.
- Liaising with the Operations Controllers to prepare the Warehouse and allocate bays for vehicles.
- Checking and sealing of vehicles on exiting the site, ensuring paperwork is correct for the load.
- Completing of inbound and outbound paperwork in a correct and timely manner.
- Using the inbound schedule to book in deliveries to allocated slots.
- Ensuring site security using CCTV.
- Assisting in security checks and searches on site.
Requirements:
- Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Able to organise and prioritise workload.
- Must be a team player who can work on their own initiative.
- Good PC skills and knowledge of MS packages is essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and tenacity.
