National Account Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at D R Newitt Recruitment Limited. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing business across wholesale buying groups and end users.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead NPD solution-based selling with the support of the NPD and development chef teams
* Develop and implement strategies to grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities
* Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and expand the company's presence in the UK foodservice market

**Requirements**

* Good understanding of UK foodservice, either having sold into foodservice for a manufacturer or worked on national accounts for a wholesaler
* Strong account management and development skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

**What We Offer**

* Fully home-based remote role with travel to site in the Midlands every second week for a day or two
* Opportunity to work with a long-term foodservice supplier with substantial accounts with wholesalers and end users
