Payroll Officer

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and updating records relating to PAYE, including submissions using Real Time Information (RTI).
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a payroll and/or finance department, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. They will also be able to input and maintain accurate data records, manage workload effectively, and work as part of a team.
The role involves regular liaison with HMRC, Inland Revenue, and other governing bodies, as well as providing information and advice to service users in relation to PAYE, SMP, SPP, and SSP. The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up new employees on the payroll service and collating customer information relating to Tax and National Insurance Liability.
